MagSafe Compatible Devices

If you have no clue about how to use MagSafe and what devices support it, stress no more. We’ll go through all the details so that you can become tech savvy with MagSafe compatible devices.

MagSafe Compatible Devices

MagSafe Compatible Devices

MagSafe is primarily compatible with the iPhone 12 models, which includes the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 Mini and 12 Pro Max. It allows you to take full advantage of the magnetic alignment feature where the MagSafe charger is seamlessly secured into place. This means that any other phone you may have which is not part of the iPhone 12 range will not be able to fully utilise the magnetic benefits of MagSafe, much to our aghast.

However, when using the MagSafe chargers as a wireless charger, there are more options! The devices that are compatible must maintain compatibility with Qi wireless charging. Apple products that are able to do this are iPhones 8 or later and AirPods that have wireless charging cases. It is also compatible with other devices that have wireless charging, including most of Samsung’s Galaxy S and Galaxy Note range and numerous models from brands such as LG and Google.

Using Happytel's MagSafe Adapter

Don’t have the luxury of owning the latest iPhone 12? Don’t worry, we got you covered. Our Mophie Ring Kit will be able to easily transform any Qi-enabled smartphone to a MagSafe compatible device! Simply stick the ring on the back of your phone and you’ll also be able to experience the new world of the magnetic mounting system of MagSafe.

Benefits of the Mophie Ring Kit

The biggest benefit of using our Mophie Ring Kit is that you can say goodbye to slow wireless charging even if you don’t have an iPhone 12! The magnetic component of MagSafe charging allows for a more precise alignment. You can charge your phone at up to 15 watts when using MagSafe, a lot faster than previous wireless chargers.

The annoying times when you try look for the perfect spot when wirelessly charging is long gone. The adapter adds convenience as it quickly snaps into place with the magnets.

With an ultra slim profile it won’t add any bulk to your phone.

MagSafe Safety

The MagSafe charger and its accessories, like our Mophie Ring Kit, are designed to wirelessly charge your phone quickly and safely. However, there are several things you should remember with MagSafe technology.

  1. Avoid putting single use cards like hotel cards against the magnet in the Mophie Ring, iPhone 12 or MagSafe charger
  2. Don’t put credit cards, security badges, passports, or key fobs between the Mophie Ring/iPhone 12 and MagSafe chargers as magnetic strips and RFID chips can be damaged
  3. The MagSafe technology is known to be able to cause interference with medical devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Apple has recommended to keep all iPhone 12 models and all MagSafe accessories a safe distance away from implanted medical devices. This would include the Mophie ring as well.
