How To Clean My Clear Phone Case

The main reason why clear phone cases turn yellow overtime is because of the UV lights from the sun. The molecules in the plastic breaks down and becomes yellow or discoloured to the UV light.
A contributing factor is also the material that you clear case is made out of. If your phone case includes a large amount of silicone, not only is it less protective but it is also more prone to turning yellow.
How do I avoid my clear phone case turning yellow?
First of all, avoid purchasing cheap plastic clear cases from places like eBay. If you want a clear case that does not easily turn yellow and is more protective, then you should be getting clear cases made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane).
If you own ANY clear case, then you should keep it away from direct sunlight (UV rays), water, sweat, dirt and other harsh conditions. This will keep you phone clear for as long as possible without going yellow.
